Hi there, I watched your documentary last night on TV and googled your name to see what progress you had made. I do hope that your amputation will make life a little easier for you. My husband and I could only marvel at your determination to do absolutely as much as you could without help and it made us feel humble. I look forward to hearing of your continued progress.

I wrote to you a couple of years back (not that I'd expect you to recall, LOL), and you're still as cute as ever!
I was channel surfing the other night before bed and saw a repeat of your TLC documentary. That brought me back here to your website. Honey, I'm so sorry you had to have that amputation. I'm hoping it's going to be a blessing in disguise. I'm already happy to hear that you'll be getting fit for a prosthetic, WOW! If I recall correctly, that wasn't an option a couple of years back, so who knows what other advances have been made, in your favor? I believe it will all work out for the best!

Now, I know that you're still healing from your surgery and that you may not be able to get to answering your emails too quickly. I just hope that you heal with no complications and that your health improves dramatically. Mandy...you know the power of TV in bringing people like you and my friend Tanya right into our very own homes is quite powerful. We in TV land care a great deal about you and we want to see you be the strongest and healthiest you can be!

Hey Mandy. I was truly inspired watching your special on T.V. the other day and wanted to say thanks. I live my life with the motto, fall nine times rise ten. I read that you did get the surgery on your left leg. I hope you are doing well. Keep your head high Mandy I have no doubt you will overcome everything against all odds. By the way I think your hair looks great. |
